Juiced Battery (How Long it Lasts, Charging Directions)
I have used a Juiced battery and I can attest that it is a long-lasting e-bike battery. I have measured it’s performance and I will share it with you below.
As a whole, a Juiced battery is a lithium-ion battery that lasts for about 500-1,000 life cycles. This means it will take about 500-1,000 complete charges and discharges for the battery to start losing its capacity by a certain percentage.
Juiced batteries are made of lithium-ion with 52 volts. Looking at the battery’s specifications, this is one of the best in the market. In this article, we will discuss its features, life span, charging time, and how to charge it.
How Long Do Juiced Batteries Last?
As a general rule, a Juiced electric bike battery lasts about 500-1,000 life cycles or about 3-5 years, just like other lithium-ion battery packs. Juiced batteries will last this long, or even longer, if they are properly used and maintained.
The 500-1,000 life cycles mean that it will likely take 500-1,000 complete charge and discharge cycles for your Juiced battery to gradually reduces its performance to a certain percentage. The overall life span of an electric bike battery depends on several factors, including the battery’s reliability, use, and maintenance. In most cases, if you purchase an electric bike battery from a manufacturer known for being highly reliable and credible, there’s a high probability that you’ll have a long-lasting e-bike battery.
Additionally, proper maintenance of your battery will prolong its life span. Please read our article on how to expand an e-bike’s battery life.
In terms of mileage, the Juiced battery will last for about 33-67 miles (53-108 km) on a single charge. This is because it has 52 volts and 19.2 amp-hours, which provides up to 998 Wh capacity. However, it should be noted that the mileage of this battery can be significantly affected by several factors, such as the type of terrain, weather conditions, rider’s overall weight, riding style, level of pedal assist used, and more. But, even so, the Juiced battery will give an impressive performance throughout your electric ride.

How Long Does It Take to Charge a Juiced Bike Battery?
On average, charging a fully discharged Juiced bike battery will take about 2.5 to 4.8 hours. The charging time of any lithium-ion battery depends on your battery’s amp-hour rating and the charger’s amp rating.
You can calculate the charging time of your e-bike battery by dividing the battery’s amp-hour rating by the charger’s amp rating. For example, the Juiced bike battery currently in stock has a 19.2 amp-hour rating with 52V. So, if you have a 4-amp charger, the charging time will take about 4.8 hours. On the other hand, if you use a fast charger with an 8-amp rating, charging the Juiced e-bike battery will only take about 2.5 hours. However, it should be noted that you should only use a charger compatible with your battery to avoid battery issues.
Juiced is currently selling chargers with different amp ratings that are compatible with all 52-volt Juice battery packs. Their chargers are listed in the table below with their prices.
52V 2-Amp Lithium Ion Battery Charger | $79 |
Turbo 52V 4-Amp Lithium Ion Battery Charger | $145 |
Cycle Satiator 52v 8A Universal Programmable “Fast” Battery Charger | $359 |
How Do You Charge a Juiced Battery?
As a general rule, you can charge your Juiced battery on or off the electric bike. To safely charge the battery, you have to connect the charger to the battery and then to the outlet to ensure proper connection. Remember that it is always best to practice safety precautions when charging any battery.
Listed below are safety tips for charging an electric bike battery.
- While it is possible to charge your battery while it’s on, it is still best to turn it off when charging.
- Make sure that the electric bike battery you are charging is not damaged or malfunctioning.
- Always use a charger provided by the e-bike’s battery manufacturer.
- Avoid using a damaged charger.
- Ensure that the area is clean and dry. Charging the battery in a wet area can cause electric shock or damage to your battery.
- Keep metal objects away. Note that metals are good conductors of electricity, so when a metal comes in contact with the battery, the person that touches the metal is at risk of electrocution.
- Place your battery on a non-flammable surface and with minimal exposure to direct sunlight to avoid overheating or fire.
- Do not expose your battery to extreme temperatures.
- Do not leave your battery unattended. Any battery, when left unattended, may overheat, which may cause battery fire.
- Avoid overcharging. It is always best to set a timer as a reminder to disconnect your battery and charger once done. Overcharging your electric bike battery may reduce its life, or worse, a short circuit may occur.

What is the Strongest eBike Battery?
As a general rule, the strongest electric bike battery would be 52 volts. Since it has a high voltage, it can draw the highest critical current, which results in providing maximum power and efficiency.
Most high-performance electric bikes use high-voltage batteries for the electric bike to handle rough roads and steep inclines. However, the overall battery performance does not solely depend on its voltage. Instead, the voltage is paired with amp-hours. So, if you have a high-voltage battery paired with a significant amount of amp-hours, your battery will perform the best.
